Why Kyasha matters.

With her perfect horns previously measured at over 52" and with 20" bases, Kyasha is currently the benchmark Ankole cow in South Africa. She is a magnificent example of the Ankole breed in both her stature and her personality. Apart from A26, A21 was the most prolific foundation cow. Kyasha has proven to be a very fertile cow and at 18 years continues to be a prolific embryo donor. Although she has proven to breed exceptional females with Maximus, she also does well with all other bulls we have used with her. With offspring such as Dyana (a Kyasha/Dyambo daughter) and our three Kyasha-Maximus daughters, this exceptional traditional Ankole line will form the core of the Swanepoel Ankole Stud.
